The loved ones of teenagers missing after a devastating inferno at a venue in a Swiss ski resort are enduring an painful wait for official news and appealing for any details about their children online.

The inferno engulfed the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the Swiss Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the middle of the night of the first day of the year. Verified footage depict the roof structure igniting as beverages with fireworks are raised in celebration.

Emergency services have warned that it could take an extended period to formally name the those who perished of the disaster, which killed numerous partygoers and hurt another 119. Officials stated on Friday that 113 of the those hurt have been identified, with work continuing to identify the final individuals.

The Italian Golf Federation has stated that he is dead, without directly referencing the fire, paying tribute to a "talented young man who embodied passion and authentic values."

His parent, told media that his son was at the bar and was last in contact around the new year. An official spokesperson has stated that a formal confirmation of his death is awaited.

Additional Missing Individuals

Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is likewise unaccounted for. His parent explained that he had been on holiday but had gone out with friends and ended up at the venue.

"A companion informed me they ran away after the fire started and that he had his phone with him, but then at a specific moment he they were separated," she said, adding he had been wearing a identifiable gold chain.
