On Monday, the tribunal heard communication data and evidence obtained from phones recorded Ms Wandelt repeatedly requesting Madeleine's mother for a DNA test throughout the past two years.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - at the age of three during a trip in Portugal - is one of the most publicized investigations and continues to be unsolved.

'I Do Not Need Money'

Another voicemail, presented in court, documented Ms Wandelt declaring: "I understand I'm heavy and not pretty like Madeleine was, but I believe what I believe."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's answerphone said: "Imagine there is a small chance that I'm her? What happens next? Is that not important for you?"

"I do not need money, I have a existence here in Poland, I simply desire to discover," she added.

The panel was told that by means of electronic messages, text messages and communications, Ms Wandelt demanded a DNA test, sent youth pictures to her phone in a bid to display a likeness to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and claimed to have "flashbacks" from a childhood with the McCanns.

The investigator, an investigator with Leicestershire Police who gathered the evidence, advised the court there "showed no any responses" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also communicated with family friends of the McCanns, according to the call data.

On 9 October 2024, Gerry McCann answered a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "the wrong phone."

During that incident Ms Wandelt deposited a message on Mrs McCann's voicemail declaring "I will continue and I plan to establish my claim."

The court was informed Mrs Spragg struck up a association online with Ms Wandelt preceding joining her on a trip to the McCanns' residence in Leicestershire in December 2024.

Communication data revealed Mrs Spragg had reached out through messaging service to Mrs McCann to express the news outlets had depicted Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she should be considered genuine in the time leading up to the trip to the village, Leicestershire, in December 2024.

The court heard communications between the two individuals, in last November, discussing trying to get Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her bins or from utensils at a dining venue.

"We have to assert ourselves," Mrs Spragg advised Ms Wandelt.

On the evening of the trip to their residence, the defendant sent a message which stated: "We find ourselves sitting adjacent to the McCanns' home with our lights out resembling detectives. I had hoped to achieve this with Peter Andrew I never thought I would be involved in this with the McCanns."

The trial ongoing.
