Administration Condemns 'Democratic Hoax' as Further Epstein Estate Photos Disclosed
House Democrats have made public a additional set of what they termed "alarming" pictures from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The initial drop of 19 images—a portion of which have been previously circulated—along with another 70 unveiled later on Friday account for a minuscule portion of the almost 100,000 images released to the House oversight committee, which is examining the behavior and associations of Epstein.
The shamed investor was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking charges.
Prominent Personalities in the Photos
Featured among the high-profile individuals shown in the initial batch are celebrities including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin empire.
Donald Trump appears in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are blacked out.
Administration Statement
The White House addressed the release in a official comment, alleging Democrats of selectively "choosing" the pictures for political purposes and to "try and create a false storyline."
"That partisan falsehood against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," a presidential representative said, insisting that "the current government has achieved more for Epstein's victims than Democrats ever have by consistently demanding disclosure, disclosing reams of documents, and urging more inquiries into Epstein's Democratic associates."
Congressional Democrat Comment
The photos were disclosed without context, but per a Democratic representative from California and ranking member of the oversight committee, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's associations with wealthy individuals.
"It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he declared in a comment.
The publication of these materials coincides with the oversight committee pressing on with its investigation into the Epstein matter.
